Hello, WBRArmy and the BATTLECREW! It has been a long time since I got on here and expressed myself. That's because life has been a little too exciting here. And that's before the politics even enter the picture! You may or may not know that my wife, WildThang, has had a lot of physical problems lately. She had a couple of procedures done on her ankle, bracing a broken bone in it. They operated and used dissolving stitches to hold the brace in place, standard procedure. The doctor couldn't figure out why the spot where he cut into her ankle wouldn't heal. When she had her hip replaced a few years ago, she almost died and was bedridden for over four months because the doctor said she had staff & mersa. Before she had her ankle operated on, they, of course, checked her for staff & mersa. They stay with you your whole life if you do get them. Guess what? She never had them, and the whole problem was that the stitches she never dissolved! So once they realized that was the problem it cleared up in three days! Then the doctor said she needed her other hip replaced. She couldn't walk! This scared her really badly because of what happened the first time, but a month after her ankle cleared, on October 6th, she had her other hip replaced. What a difference! This doctor gave her antibiotics before the operation, during the operation, and every five hours in the hospital! She went home the next day and is now walking! What a difference a new doctor made! She still needs help getting around, but the outer stitches come out Wednesday!! She is doing so much better than the first time! I am going to get back into my routine the more she gets back to hers. I miss everybody and was surprised that the time changed again. Anyway, HOWDY to the Army and the BATTLECREW! I'm back! GP5K
